This May 8 finally sees the light in physical form 'Red', the new work of The Broken, one of the most promising rock bands in Barcelona. 'Red' gets to be published, finally, by the independent label Casafont Records. After problems between the band and their previous album, The Broken manage to take control of his artistic career and present this work the way they consider appropriate.
'Red' is presented as a short film, halfway between the LP and EP. Seven tracks that exude intense attitude of the group. His vocation classic style and flavor with no trace of naphthalene. Portentous on the ropes, final on the beat. Flashes as 'Youth' or 'City bedroom' is the watchword of roto'n roll, a term coined to distinguish the sound of other hearths. Intensity offset that taste good with longer lethargic and deep melodies, like the beautiful 'The dance floor'.
In short, a good catalog for the palette of sounds of The Broken, which with it and go on their second job. Furthermore, the arrival to the best shelf 'Red' (reviewed here) comes with a gift.
