Sabine Nallinger - OB candidate of the Munich Open

The members of the Munich Greens have decided: they want Sabine Nallinger as Mayor - and not Hep Monatzeder Hoenning or Nicholas.

With 60.8% of votes in the 48-year-old sat through as a clear winner against their opponents. Especially for Hep Monatzeder, longtime OB-top candidate of the Greens and for sixteen years, third mayor of Munich, this can only be described as a bitter defeat.

The top candidate of the Greens appreciate their victory: "I am delighted with the great results that exceeded my expectations. More than 60 percent in the first round, which is a huge vote of confidence for which I am grateful. "An official statement of candidacy will be held until next year. For the future, Sabine Nallinger confidently predicted: "I will make every effort to do justice to the great trust and lead the party together with an imaginative and spirited campaign."

Even Catherine Schulze, chairman of the Munich Open, believes "to have a competent Sabine Nallinger OB candidate."

Sabine Nallinger committed to particular environmental and social issues. She focuses on issues such as renewable energies in the region, affordable housing and equal opportunity.
